The Rise of Nihilistic Accelerationism: From Sextortion to Stabbings in Sweden

In my last blog post on 764, I mentioned Offline Com. This may seem odd to those familiar with the Com network. Though Com is predominantly a digital network and phenomenon, there have been some criminal activities that occurred offline, such as arson, bricking, and murder for hire. Traditionally, these offline activities were carried out by adult members associated with Cyber Com. However, Extortion Com (where 764 is found) has seen a shift in criminal activity over 2024, moving from a focus on sextortion/CSEA to offline kinetic acts of criminality. In particular, a set of groups within Sextortion Com have been producing instructional guides on how to carry out murders and terrorist attacks. The arrest of Commander Butcher (leader of Maniacs Murder Cult and author of the Haters Handbook) exemplifies this shift toward offline criminal behavior. A more recent example is the arrest of a serial stabber in Sweden linked with No Lives Matter, who goes by Slain764. Offline Com is motivated by militant accelerationism; however, unlike their neo-fascist counterparts, their accelerationist goal is not to instate a white imperium. Rather, these groups follow what I describe as Nihilistic Accelerationism, where the goal is chaos. These minors use accelerationist tactics, techniques, and procedures to "create content" that will gain them notoriety and popularity; they are simply clout chasing.

Today, we’ll explore the case of Slain764, who, over the past few months, has stabbed eight individuals in Hässelby, Sweden, recorded it, and posted it on Telegram to gain more status and promote the Swedish branch of No Lives Matter

  1. On September 13, 764 and No Lives Matter released an ideological manifesto titled "NLMx764 - Classified." This document provides information about the two apparent leaders of 764 and NLM, as well as three additional members. It also gives instructions on how to carry out attacks, as well as how NLM and 764 are guided by Nihilism and Misanthropy.
  2. One of the members on the official "roster" found in the ideological manifesto was arrested on September 13 in Hässelby, Sweden, for attempted murder after the 14-year-old stabbed an 80-year-old man in the back. This attempted murder is linked to another attempted murder of a woman in her 50s in July 2024.

Last week's, I discussed the important role that clout plays in the Com network. The reason people are victimized is to generate "content" with the hope that it will appeal to those in the network and gain the perpetrator popularity and notoriety. By gaining infamy, a user gains access to more exclusive communities and may earn a place on the official roster of one of the branded groups within this network. As much as people vie for official roster positions, leaders and key influencers in this space also vie for alliances with some of the most active and significant groups. Alliances are particularly important with Offline Com and those seeking to carry out real-world acts of violence and criminality. Like most of Com, these alliances are ephemeral, reliant on interpersonal relationships between leaders and the perception of a specific Com group by the wider network (when popular, you are more likely to be approached for an alliance, but if a group's popularity dwindles, alliances will end).

One important point regarding Offline Com is that influencers are actively seeking to distance themselves from child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSEA) and any association that a group’s "brand name" might have with CSEA. Nevertheless, many who are now in Offline Com initially gained notoriety through sextortion. Another key theme within Offline Com alliances is that these groups aim to emulate the nihilistic accelerationism displayed by Maniacs Murder Cult (MKY) in their own violent content. For this reason, this segment of the Com network is more interested in the theistic Satanism associated with the Order of Nine Angles, attracted by its taboo nature and connection to offline violence. The main groups found in Offline Com are No Lives Matter (NLM), Maniacs Murder Cult (MKY/MKU/MMC), Cult Brotherhood of Blood (CBB), Satanic Front, and 764.

Nihilistic accelerationism

I have been working on developing a definition for what I have been observing within the side of Com focused on accelerationism and offline violence. I am calling this Nihilistic Accelerationism, which I am presently defining as a subset of militant accelerationism that prioritizes the destruction of existing social, political, and moral structures, not to instigate a new order, but purely for chaos and societal collapse. Unlike other forms of accelerationism that may aim to accelerate societal breakdown to build an ideological utopia, nihilistic accelerationism lacks any constructive end goal or political motivation. It instead operates on a deep-rooted disdain for humanity and societal norms, using violence as a mechanism to erode stability and promote an atmosphere of fear, disruption, and online notoriety. This form of accelerationism aligns with extreme misanthropy, focusing on "purifying" or erasing life and order as ends in themselves, rather than as a means to further a traditional political or ideological agenda.

CLASSIFIED a No Lives Matter and 764 Ideological Manifesto

On September 13, 2024, a Telegram channel identifying itself with No Lives Matter and 764 released an ideological manifesto titled "NLM x 764 - Classified," which was accompanied by a 32-second video titled "A New Era of Evil."

The document identifies two leaders of the group: S1n NLM and Trippy 764. It also lists three other individuals on the roster: Fail 764, War 764, and Slain 764. (Roster refers to vetted members who can use NLM or 764 in their usernames.) The document includes links to Telegram channels associated with this network. Notably, this is the same network connected to Michail Chkhikvishvili, also known as “Commander Butcher,” who was arrested in July for a foiled terrorist attack. This ideological manifesto borrows heavily from instructional and ideological materials created by Commander Butcher and MKY and extensively uses the aesthetics and symbols of the Order of Nine Angles.

The document outlines the ideological framework of 764/NLM, grounded in nihilism and misanthropy. This means that members of this network believe that life holds no inherent value. Nihilism, as they interpret it, equates beliefs—or the idea of meaning itself—to nothing. As they clearly state in their group’s name, "no lives matter." While the majority of society believes in life’s value, their nihilistic worldview seeks to oppose this notion. The document states their goal is to usher in an “era of evil” where no race, gender, or age is safe from their violent actions. For them, nihilism provides the guiding worldview, while misanthropy dictates the targets of their violence. They define misanthropy in their manifesto as

"It's a hatred for humankind that isn't understood by the average human. to truly understand what it is you must study humans, the way they speak and the way they act. [...] ]there are only two types of species in this world predators and prey, master and slave. Human beings are not top of the food chain, the vampiric predator is a predator serves only one role, to rule. While his prey's destiny is to serve. [...] The vampire recognizes who and what he is, a predator of man, the true predator, a sadist. Finding great pleasure in his work."

This excerpt highlights, first and foremost, their hatred for humankind. S1n, one of the leaders, regularly refers to "people hate" in their posts. This hatred for humanity drives the actions guided by their nihilistic ideology. Also notable is their use of the terms "vampiric predator" and "vampire"—a trope borrowed from some texts of the Order of Nine Angles (O9A) and The Black Order. However, NLM/764 does not engage with O9A material ideologically; they use it for its aesthetic value, particularly drawing on material from Temple ov Blood. NLM members are unlikely to struggle with or even read O9A’s ideological texts. Instead, they treat O9A as a cultural phenomenon, one that is considered especially obscene in terrorist and violent extremist spaces. In the manifesto itself, while defining misanthropy, an NLM logo is overlaid with O9A and Temple of Blood imagery.

Following their ideological framing, the manifesto includes a call to action to "hunt their prey." This concept is borrowed from a Maniacs Murder Cult instructional document on conducting a “manhunt,” where a threat actor selects a target, follows them, and attacks from behind.

The document also discusses their goals. Typically, violent extremism and terrorism are driven by an end goal or objective that the violence seeks to achieve. However, this is not the case with 764 and NLM. In their document, they state that:

"the goal of 764 is the purification of all living things through endless attacks committed by the cult. World domination will be achieved by any means necessary. We won't stop until our goal is completed and all life forms are eliminated only 764 will remain."

Their objective is pure violence, not only for the sake of violence, but also for Internet clout. There is no political goal, no hidden agenda, they simply hate the world and hate everyone, and simply want to commit acts of violence.

The manifesto outlines their objective as pure violence, driven by a deep-seated hatred for the world and everyone in it. Their actions are not politically motivated; instead, they seek to commit violent acts both for the sake of violence itself and to gain notoriety online.

The document provides detailed instructions on preparing for attacks to avoid detection and leaving identifiable evidence. It includes guidance on conducting a "manhunt," grooming girls online, extortion and doxxing, and identifying the most lethal areas to stab someone. Notably, on the same day this ideological manifesto was published, September 13, 2024, a member of No Lives Matter known as Slain764 allegedly attempted to murder an 80-year-old man in Hässelby, Sweden.

Young people charged with serious offences, involved with 764, pose a real risk if not closely managed.

The Hässelby Attack

The 80-year-old man is in hospital recovering after being stabbed multiple times by a 14-year-old boy. According to Swedish media, the attack left the victim with a punctured lung and severe emotional trauma. The minor, armed with a knife, struck the victim from behind as he was walking home from visiting his wife at a care facility. Swedish media reports that the attack, which was filmed and shared online, is linked to “No Lives Matter” (NLM) and 764. In Telegram chats and channels associated with NLM and 764, members confirmed that the individual who carried out the attack was Slain764. As described in their ideological manifesto, Slain764 is an official member in the new iteration of the NLM and 764 alliance. Inspired by the Maniacs Murder Cult (MKY), the group advocates extreme violence against ordinary people, whom they refer to as “mundane” or “worldly,” solely for online notoriety. The attack is eerily similar to one carried out by Nino Luciano (Tobbz764), who killed a 74-year-old woman, believing she was either Jewish or Romanian. Two weeks prior, Tobbz had attempted to murder an 82-year-old man, pushing him down the stairs and cutting his face and wrist before fleeing.

The Com networks associated with 764 and NLM have become a major concern for law enforcement, with the FBI and RCMP issuing public service announcements. They warned that these threat actors promote violence, advocating mass murder and encouraging members to commit and film violent acts for online fame. Though much of my analysis focuses on the English and Cyrillic-speaking networks, Com is an international network, evidenced by violent crimes in Sweden and Romania. The arrest of Slain764 underscores the transnational nature of this network, as he was the "founder" of the 764/NLM group in Sweden, known as Mordwaffen Division. “Mord,” the Swedish word for murder, nods to the maniacs culture popularized in Com by MKY and emulated by various offshoots.

The 14-year-old suspect has also been linked to another stabbing incident in July, in which a woman in her 50s was stabbed in the back while opening the gate to her workplace in Hässelby. Authorities believe he had actively been recruiting others to join in these violent acts, further illustrating the reach of NLM’s influence. Videos of the attacks have continued circulating on social media despite his detention, raising concerns about how such violent ideologies spread in digital spaces. Sveriges Television, in its investigation into Slain764’s attacks, revealed that at least six more people have been assaulted in the same area—each incident filmed and posted on Telegram.

Conclusion

The recent escalation of violence within factions like 764 and No Lives Matter, where young people are engaging in real-world attacks, highlights an alarming trend. These minors, drawn to violent subcultures and networks like Offline Com, are more than just passive participants; they are active, dangerous actors with increasing influence. The growing number of young individuals involved in serious criminal activities linked to these groups underscores how deeply embedded the desire for clout and notoriety has become, especially when achieved through violence.

Without early intervention and robust monitoring, these young perpetrators represent a real risk. Many members of 764 exhibit a disturbing combination of ideological disillusionment, misanthropy, and a thirst for online recognition. They are adopting violent tactics and techniques modeled by other groups, with the sole intent of causing harm and chaos, often just to build their reputation. Left unchecked, this kind of clout-driven criminality poses a unique public safety challenge, as the motivations are not politically driven in the traditional sense but rather steeped in a nihilistic worldview that sees violence as an end in itself.

Law enforcement faces a difficult task, given the transnational and highly networked nature of these groups. Public service warnings by the FBI and RCMP acknowledge the danger, but effective management will require more than just policing; it will necessitate a multidisciplinary approach involving social services, mental health interventions, and community awareness. Addressing the influence and appeal of these networks on young people is essential to prevent further recruitment, particularly as these groups become adept at harnessing digital platforms to recruit, radicalize, and command attention.

In conclusion, the violent actions of 764 members highlight a shifting and complex threat landscape where clout-driven criminality and youth involvement converge. Failure to understand and contain this phenomenon will likely lead to further radicalization and violent incidents, reinforcing the need for strategies to curb the allure of such networks among impressionable young people.
